SEVERAL WAYS TO SERVE

Winter Warming Shelter  ~ Free Community Meal
Donations

FREE COMMUNITY MEAL

One of the easiest ways to Volunteer is to come to our Free community meal on the 4th Thursday of every month. There are opportunities to serve in the kitchen, to help serve meals, or simply to visit with those who come to join us. Come out and help us be the hands and feet of Christ as we serve our neighbors. Call ahead, 276-629-2869 or just show up and say "I want to help." We look forward to serving with you.

WINTER WARMING SHELTER

The Winter Warming Shelter officially opened its doors in the late fall of 2015 to help to house those who find themselves in need of shelter when the temperature drops below 32 degrees.  We are working to "get the word out" about this available ministry. Volunteers are needed for:

  • overnight monitors
  • set-up and clean-up
  • meal preparation
  • laundry duties
  • donations of socks, jackets, gloves

Luke 10:27 “Jesus answered, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.’
